In 1977, the Argentine company Laboratorios Celta SRL, installs its plant and offices at 4284 Bartolomé Mitre St., because of the strategic city location and its nearness to the Italian Hospital, which is a nationally recognized institution for the high complexity medical treatment that are performed there.
After almost 30 yeras of activity, as a consequence of the 2001 Argentine crisis, the Laboratory (such as many other companies of the country) has to be closed.

Since them, the building kept occupied by a large quantity of homeless people, as a consequence of the economical collapse, until year 2004. In that moment, Tribeca Hoteles Management Group stars the reconstruction of the place, which would be later opened as the Group´s third establishment dedicated to the hospitality industry.
